We stayed at October Inn for four nights and it was just great! The room was spacious and comfortable, with a big bathroom and a fantastic terrace for enjoying mountain and city views. The two beautiful courtyards provided a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly helpful, picking us up from the train station and offering suggestions and advice for activities and sightseeing. We even went on a memorable walk with them in the mountain behind the hostel. If given the chance, we would definitely return to this wonderful place.

I chose October Inn specifically to visit the Museum of Naxi Dongba Culture, and I was pleasantly surprised by the English-speaking staff who booked my bus ticket and helped with trip plans. The swinging sofa and beer from the bar were perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

The private rooms at October Inn offer stunning views of Elephant Hill and its beautiful natural forests. As a light sleeper, I loved waking up to such a serene and picturesque sight.

Personally, I found the swinging sofa with a beer from the bar a bit too noisy for my liking. But hey, others might enjoy it!

The double room was great, equipped with a fully furnished kitchen where I could use the coffee and tea making facilities, fridge, and washing machine, and the location was perfect with a lovely garden view.

The dorm room was not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated. Tom went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, from organizing trips to providing breakfast before our departure. We would definitely visit China again just to stay at October Inn. we highly recommend this hostel for its exceptional vibes and hospitality.

He even took me on a free trip to a local temple, which was an amazing experience. the location was nice and quiet, just a short walk down to the bus stop and a genuine local temple on the hill. the beds were comfy and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. the service was excellent and I had a great time exploring the nearby attractions.

That the showers were located outside the dorms, so you had to go outside to take a shower. there were heating lamps to keep you warm.
